Most of us spend our days rehearsing the same worn story: “I’ll be happy when I get that promotion,” or “Once I find my person, I’ll finally feel complete.” But what if the very act of seeking abundance outside ourselves is what keeps it at arm’s length?

The False Promise of External Completion

We’ve been trained to believe that fulfillment lives somewhere “out there” – in the next achievement, relationship, or material gain. This conditioning runs deep, creating an endless cycle of wanting that leaves us chronically hungry, no matter how much we acquire.

The truth that mystics have whispered through the ages is this: you are not broken and in need of fixing. You are not incomplete and in need of filling. You are, in this very moment, the abundance you seek.

The I AM Revelation

As Neville Goddard taught, “I AM is the foundation of all manifestation.” When you truly grasp that your essential nature – your I AM Self – is already whole, complete, and abundant, everything shifts. You stop being a beggar in the marketplace of life and recognize yourself as the source.

This isn’t positive thinking or affirmation work. This is recognizing what has always been true: the kingdom of heaven, the field of infinite possibility, exists within your consciousness right now.

From Rehearsing Lack to Embodying Fullness

Notice how often you mentally rehearse states of wanting, needing, or lacking throughout your day. Each time you think “I don’t have enough money,” or “I’m so lonely,” you’re actively creating from that state of consciousness.

The shift is simple but profound: instead of thinking about abundance, become it. Instead of wanting love, be love. Instead of seeking peace, embody peace.

When you align with your I AM nature, the external world begins to mirror this inner completeness. Not because you’re manipulating reality, but because you’ve stopped contradicting your true nature.

Tablet Practices

  • The I AM Reset: Throughout your day, when you catch yourself in seeking mode, pause and declare internally: “I AM abundance. I AM love. I AM peace.” Feel the truth of these words in your body, not just your mind.
  • Evening Abundance Inventory: Before sleep, write down three qualities or experiences that demonstrate your inner abundance – perhaps your capacity for kindness, a moment of creativity, or the simple miracle of your consciousness itself.

The Miraculous Ordinary

When you stop seeking completion outside yourself, something beautiful happens. Life becomes lighter. Interactions become more authentic. You show up as a gift rather than as someone with needs to be met.

The external world may or may not immediately reflect this shift with obvious changes. But what definitely changes is your relationship to whatever arises. You meet life from fullness rather than emptiness, from strength rather than neediness.

Beyond the Seeking Mind

This doesn’t mean you stop having desires or working toward goals. It means you pursue them from a place of inspiration and joy rather than desperation and lack. You create from overflow, not emptiness.

Your desires become expressions of your abundance rather than attempts to fill a void. This is the difference between creating from wound and creating from wholeness.

The Daily Sacred

Begin each morning by connecting with your I AM presence before checking your phone or rushing into the day. Ask yourself: “What abundance do I already possess?” Let this question guide you into recognition of the wealth that exists in your capacity to love, create, appreciate, and be present.

Throughout your day, catch yourself when you slip into old patterns of seeking external validation. These moments aren’t failures – they’re opportunities to remember who you really are.

Remember: you are not trying to become abundant. You are learning to recognize the abundance that you never stopped being. This recognition changes everything, not because it adds something to you, but because it removes the illusion that something was ever missing.

From this place of inner knowing, watch how differently you move through your days. Watch how your relationships deepen. Watch how opportunities align with your authentic desires. This is the natural result of living from your true I AM nature.

You are abundance itself, recognizing itself, expressing itself, celebrating itself. This is not a destination to reach but the truth to remember. I AM.
